raw paleo eating

I am going to try it out. The idea is, if it is raw, you may eat it but...only if your ancestors would have. This means, no grains, rice, potatoes, stuff with starch in them and only limited amounts of fruit. Plenty of raw eggs, raw meat, raw veggies. I am in a phase now where my metabolism is fairly shocked over what has just happened. I experience some weakness but on the other hand I experience a clear head and my skin apparently loves it. From a foodie point of view, raw is often boring, but it certainly does not have to be.

Of the stuff we allready eat raw there is;

Sashimi (includes all kinds of meat in Japan even raw chicken!)
carpaccio
Kebbeh
steak tar tarré

You will need a lot of fat fish. Raw fat fish is delicious. A couple of examples of what to eat for lunch;

A couple of hours before you need food you take raw salmon. Slice it as thinly as you can, carpaccio thin is the best. Cover it with fresh lime or lemon and let it rest. Before you eat it, add finely chopped onions and some grinded. If you have a source for cheese mate from raw milk, add a layer of raw milk parmasan to the dish. Serve with salad containing fresh spinach.

Raw fish in its native state too much for you? Do a smoked salmon tar tarre. see if you can find unsalted smoked fish, but salt is not bad it just need to be limited and of the sea or vegetable salt varaity.

As much smoked salmon as you need (which is more than you think on a purely raw diet)
very finely chopped onions (1/4 onion usually do it for me)
some finely chopped capers
a couple teaspoons of home made mayo (industrial mayo contains sugar and additives)
a bit of mustard
fresh chopped chives and dill

serve with spinach, raw broccoli (works wonders with smokes salmon!) or whatever fits your fancy. The tartarre can also be made with raw beef. Use muscle meat. Stay far away from ground beef, if you need ground beef make it yourself. Just add to it whatever sauces fit your fancy, like worchester. Personally the mayo with a chili mustard does it for me. Small amounts, just enough to keep it together. just like when you mix cement it is tempting to add too much water, but rather add less lubrication and work harder at it.

I have found no satisfying raw chicken recipes. I cant stand the texture.

The paleo eaters are split on diery. Those who believe it valuable to deit insist that it must be raw-milk and raw milk based products. The other stuff is bad for you. The other groups say that our ancestors would not have eating or drunk such things. Same with fermented stuff and vinegar which proponents argue can be found as a natural process of nature and the other group say; Then find it in nature and stay away from processed things. I think going raw without salt or vinegar is too much. Raw meat tastes like nothing, but has a pleasing copper smell.

Raw fish is one of the best things about Tahiti. You go out fishing with 'em in their boat, just barely get a big Bluefin tuna into the boat, cut that bastard open, throw a bit of lime juice over it, and chow down. Aikatuai.

Or as one Tahitian said: "So good even white people like it." :005_rofl:

Notice that mainstream shit-advice diet websites always try to scare people away from liver. They're hoarding and don't wanna share.

In 1951, Dr. Benjamin H. Ershoff conducted an experiment for the benefit of the United States Army.

The experiment was simple.

He took three groups of rats, tossed them in a tub of cold water (from which they could not escape) and recorded how long it took until they drowned.

The first group of rats was fed the standard American diet. These rats swam for an average of 13.3 minutes before drowning.

The second group of rats was fed the same diet, but was also given 10% B-Vitamin complex. These rats swam for an average of 13.4 minutes before drowning.

The third group of rats was given the same diet. But Dr. Ershoff added 10% dried liver to the diet.

And then something amazing happened. The rats who received the liver were still swimming...

The French are big fans of liver, and in spite of seriously bad butter intake and smoking, they live well into their 90s.

Butter is great. It just has to be RAW butter which is what the french gourge on . They also make healthy cheese from raw-milk. Try and buy raw-milk at your local grosery store....you cant. it is illegal! one of the heathtiest foods we know, is illegal. The stuff they put up for sale now is water with fine fat particles. not really fit for human consumption

http://www.realmilk.com/where3.html#mn

US Summary: Sales of raw milk are legal in 28 out of 50 US states, which is better than half. If you include the states which permit the sale of raw milk for animal consumption (implying that human consumption is feasible) then the total is 33 out of 50 states, which is two-thirds. In some of the remaining states (such as Colorado, Virginia and Wisconsin) raw milk is available through cow share programs. Our goal: Raw milk available to consumers in all 50 states and throughout the world!
